The 28-unit boutique residential development, just off the trendy café strip of Bridge Road, Richmond is designed by multi-award winning architects Jackson Clements Burrows. 

In order to create a warm façade the building is completely clad in black-stained Canadian cedar boards, which combine with the abstract pattern of black steel circular windows to lend the building a ship-like quality. 

A black-and-white theme embraces the separation of black doors and windows, with white cabinetry outlined with black edging.  The judges said the innovative design sits well within the industrial environment, and the high level of quality detailing made this a stand-out development.
